Pack 185 is chartered by the Lincoln Kiwanis Club. We belong to the Sierra Gateway District, which is in the Golden Empire Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Pack 185 was started in May of 2000 by a small group of parents that wanted a program for their sons that would be educational and fun. They were looking for something that would make their sons want to be in scouts. The hopes of those parents are echoed by the parents of todays pack. Pack 185 follows the Cub Scout Program Helps Program and the belief that it is their job to keep the "outing" in Scouting by being very aggressive in planning monthly outings for all the boys to participate in. We hope that every Cub Scout in Pack 185 attains the Rank of Eagle Scout.
