Pack 185 prides itself on it's very aggresive calendar. Our thought is that if your son likes what he is doing enough he will stay in the program and earn the highest award, Eagle.
What we tell everyone is you do not have to participate in every event but with that said the more you participate the more your son and family get out of what this program has to offer. Cub Scouting is a family orientated program and Pack 185 promotes that program.
Our annual pack calendar planning session is usually done in August. That way your family will know what is going on. But we have been known to throw extra outings in if we see something that the boys would enjoy. So as we say "Put your seatbelts on because our intention is to lay the path for every boy to make it to Eagle starting with our Cub Scouts".
